Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the 488 GTB for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Lamborghini doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Aventador.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the 488 GTB has standard 20-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch front wheels are standard on the Aventador LP 700-4.

The 488 GTB offers an optional space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Aventador, it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the 488 GTB offers optional adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Aventador doesn’t offer cornering lights.

The 488 GTB offers optional automatic dimming rear and side view mirrors which automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Aventador has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.

Standard smartphone integration for the 488 GTB allows the driver and passengers access to select programs on their smartphones, including reading text messages aloud, playing internet radio stations and other connected activities without taking their eyes off the road or their hands from the wheel. The Aventador doesn’t offer factory integrated smartphone program access.
