An Independent Auto Dealer Not Directly Affiliated with Mercedes-Benz Or Any Other Manufacturer
The X6 M has standard BMW Assist, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Bentayga doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.
Both the X6 M and the Bentayga have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, plastic fuel tanks, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras, available night vision systems, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems and around view monitors.
The X6 M comes with a full 4 year/50,000 mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24 hour roadside assistance. The Bentayga’s 3 year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.
The X6 M’s corrosion warranty is 9 years longer than the Bentayga’s (12 vs. 3 years).
BMW pays for scheduled maintenance on the X6 M for 4 years and 50,000 miles. BMW will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Bentley doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Bentayga.
There are almost 10 times as many BMW dealers as there are Bentley dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the X6 M’s warranty.
Regenerative brakes improve the X6 M’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Bentayga doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.
For better traction and acceleration, the X6 M has larger standard rear tires than the Bentayga (315/35R20 vs. 275/50R20). The X6 M’s rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the Bentayga (325/30R21 vs. 285/45R21).
The X6 M’s standard 275/40R20 front and 315/35R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series front and 35 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Bentayga’s standard 50 series tires. The X6 M’s 285/35R21 front and 325/30R21 rear tires have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile than the Bentayga’s optional 40 series tires.
The X6 M is 9.1 inches shorter than the Bentayga, making the X6 M easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
The X6 M’s standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Bentayga w/Four Seat Comfort Specification doesn’t offer folding rear seats, only a ski pass-through.
Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the X6 M to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Bentayga doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.
