For enhanced safety, the front seat shoulder belts of the Porsche 911 Coupe are height adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 doesn’t offer height adjustable seat belts.
Both the 911 and the Gallardo LP560-4 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four wheel antilock brakes, traction control and electronic stability systems to prevent skidding.
There are almost 13 times as many Porsche dealers as there are Lamborghini dealers, which makes it much easier to get service under the 911’s warranty.
The 911 Turbo’s standard 3.6 turbo 6 cyl. produces 62 lbs.-ft. more torque (460 vs. 398) than the Gallardo LP560-4’s 5.0 DOHC V10. The 911 GT2 Coupe’s standard 3.6 turbo 6 cyl. produces 62 lbs.-ft. more torque (460 vs. 398) than the Gallardo LP560-4’s 5.0 DOHC V10.
For more instantaneous acceleration and better engine flexibility in any gear, the 911’s engines produce their peak torque and horsepower at lower RPM’s than the Gallardo LP560-4:

The flat cylinder configuration of the boxer engine in the 911 lowers its center of gravity, enhancing handling stability. The Gallardo LP560-4 doesn’t offer a boxer engine configuration.

The 911 has a tether attaching its gas cap, to prevent its loss. The Gallardo LP560-4’s gas cap isn’t tethered, so it can be left at a gas station if the driver forgets to screw the cap back in.
For better stopping power the 911 Turbo/GT3/GT2’s front brake rotors are larger than those on the Gallardo LP560-4:

In an emergency stopping situation, many drivers don’t press the brakes with enough force to stop the vehicle in the shortest distance. The 911 has a standard brake assist system to detect emergency braking situations (by how hard and how quickly the brake pedal is pressed) and then automatically apply maximum braking immediately in order to help prevent a collision. The Gallardo LP560-4 doesn’t offer a brake assist feature.

The 911 GT2 Coupe goes through Road & Track’s slalom 3.8 MPH faster than the Gallardo LP560-4 Coupe (75.9 vs. 72.1 MPH).
For better maneuverability, the 911’s turning circle is 1.7 feet tighter than the Gallardo LP560-4’s (36 feet vs. 37.7 feet).

The 911 has standard seating for 4 passengers; the Gallardo LP560-4 can only carry 2.
The 911 has 15 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Gallardo LP560-4 (64 vs. 49).
The 911 Coupe has a much larger trunk than the Gallardo LP560-4 Coupe (11.7 vs. 4 cubic feet).
When four different drivers share the 911, the optional memory seats and mirrors make it convenient for all four. Each keyless remote activates different, customized memories for the driver’s seat position and outside mirror angle. The Gallardo LP560-4 doesn’t offer a memory system.
The 911’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Gallardo LP560-4’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.
The 911’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Gallardo LP560-4’s manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.
To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the 911 offers optional adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Gallardo LP560-4 doesn’t offer cornering lights.
The 911’s sun-visors swivel front-to-side to block glare from the side windows. The Gallardo LP560-4’s visors are fixed into the windshield header.
The 911’s standard power mirror controls are mounted on the door for easy access. The Gallardo LP560-4’s standard power mirror controls are on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.
The 911 offers optional automatic dimming rear and side view mirrors which automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Gallardo LP560-4 has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.
The 911’s optional air conditioned front seats cool the driver and front passenger and help take the sting out of hot leather in Summer. The Gallardo LP560-4 doesn’t offer air conditioned front seats.
To help keep the driver’s hands on the wheel, the 911 offers optional steering wheel controls for the radio. The Gallardo LP560-4 doesn’t offer steering wheel audio controls.
